EBA Engineering Promotes Stacey Smith to Department Manager
geographIT, a division of EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA), is pleased to announce the promotion of Stacey Smith, GISP, to geospatial technologies and asset management department manager. Smith joined EBA in 2018 and is an associate of the firm.
“Stacey is well-respected for her leadership and skill at facilitating complex interagency projects, such as the GIS for NextGen 911 in Southeastern Pennsylvania effort,” said EBA President and CEO Rizwan Siddiqi, PE. “She will continue to oversee geographIT’s growth and recognition as a geospatial technology innovator.”
As a project manager for EBA, Smith previously provided local government business development, project management, and client relationship management.
Before joining EBA, Smith served for more than 20 years at the Chester County Department of Computing and Information Services, most recently as the GIS Services Supervisor.
She was the two-term president of the County GIS Professionals Association of Pennsylvania (GIS Pros), a program of the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania (CCAP). She was also member of the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency’s Next Generation 911 (NG9-1-1) Workgroup and a project coordinator for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Task Force (SEPATF) NG9-1-1 regional GIS initiatives.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in geography from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is a certified Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP).
