EBA Engineering Announces New Service Offerings in Surveying, Drilling, and Subsurface Utility Engineering
EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA) has announced the addition of surveying and mapping, subsurface utility engineering (SUE), and drilling and exploration to its portfolio of services, strengthening the firm’s ability to provide integrated infrastructure solutions from initial site investigations through design and construction.
“Our goal has always been to make it easier for clients to deliver successful projects,” said President and CEO Rizwan Siddiqi, PE, F.ACEC. “Reestablishing surveying and drilling while introducing subsurface utility engineering allows us to provide more of the services our clients need through one trusted partner.”
Surveying and mapping services
EBA’s reestablished Surveying & Mapping department is led by David Kinman, RLS. A licensed professional surveyor in Maryland, Kinman has provided surveying and mapping services throughout Maryland for more than 40 years for various agencies, including the Maryland Department of Transportation; WSSC Water; and Montgomery, Prince George’s, Anne Arundel, and Howard Counties.
EBA’s full range of surveying and mapping services includes:

- Forest stand delineation surveys
- Right-of-way and easement plats

SUE services
Complementing these capabilities, EBA has added SUE services to help clients identify and map existing underground utilities. Services include:

Drilling and exploration services
EBA has also relaunched its Drilling & Exploration department under the leadership of Richard Kimes, Chief of Drilling. As a licensed master well driller in Maryland, Kimes has more than 40 years of experience in geotechnical drilling and field operations and has led drilling and exploration programs supporting transportation, utility, environmental, and public infrastructure projects.
