Cody Ondos, PE, CCM, has joined EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA) as assistant vice president of EBA’s Construction Management and Inspection (CMI) department. Ondos is based in EBA’s Laurel, Maryland, headquarters and will be responsible for overseeing CMI services, as well as managing client relations and business development.

“We’re excited to see Cody apply his significant transportation and vertical CMI industry experience to serve our clients,” said EBA President and CEO Rizwan Siddiqi, PE. “He will work alongside Brett Deane, our principal for CMI, to continue growing our business and service offerings.”

Before joining EBA, Ondos supported a wide range of public-sector clients, including the Maryland Aviation Administration (MAA), Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA), and Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA). He served in roles ranging from resident engineer and construction manager to program representative on large-scale capital programs.

Notably, Ondos served as the owner’s representative for Amtrak’s $2.7 billion Susquehanna River Rail Bridge Program, a major initiative to expand freight and passenger rail capacity along the Northeast Corridor.

Ondos brings extensive experience delivering CMI services across both horizontal and vertical infrastructure sectors, including highways, bridges, rail systems, aviation facilities, and mixed-use developments. He has led inspection and construction management teams on statewide transportation programs while also managing complex vertical projects involving structural, mechanical, electrical, and specialty building systems.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. He is a licensed professional engineer in Maryland, DC, Virginia, and Pennsylvania and a certified construction manager (CCM). He is actively involved in industry organizations including the Construction Management Association of America and the Maryland Society of Professional Engineers.
