EBA Welcomes Stephen McVeigh to Lead Virginia Operations

James “Stephen” McVeigh, PMP, has joined EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA) to lead the firm’s operations in Virginia. In this role, McVeigh will oversee EBA’s Virginia operations while focusing on project delivery, staff development, client relationships, and continued growth of EBA’s construction management and transportation services throughout the Commonwealth.

McVeigh brings more than two decades of transportation construction and program management experience throughout Virginia and Maryland. He has managed construction engineering and inspection (CEI) on-call contracts for the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) across the Northern Virginia, Fredericksburg, Culpeper, Staunton, and Hampton Roads districts. He has also held leadership roles on major transportation and rail projects, including the George Washington Memorial Parkway rehabilitation, the Virginia Creeper Trail reconstruction, the Alexandria 4th Rail project, the King Street and Commonwealth Avenue rail bridge project, the I-695 TSMO design-build project, and the I-270 Innovative Congestion Management project.

“Virginia is an increasingly important market for EBA, and Stephen’s experience leading transportation construction programs throughout the Commonwealth strengthens our ability to serve VDOT and local agency clients,” said Rizwan Siddiqi, President and CEO of EBA. “His leadership, operational expertise, and understanding of the Virginia transportation landscape position us to continue building a strong CMI and transportation engineering practice that delivers responsive service and experienced staff to our clients.”

McVeigh’s background spans construction management, project delivery, contract administration, and business development. Throughout his career, he has managed project teams, developed client relationships, overseen operational and financial performance, and contributed to transportation CMI programs across Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic.

“I am excited to join EBA and help expand our presence across Virginia,” said Stephen McVeigh, Virginia Operations Manager. “Virginia’s transportation program presents tremendous opportunities to improve mobility and infrastructure, and I look forward to supporting our clients with experienced construction management and inspection services while continuing to grow our team and capabilities throughout the Commonwealth.”

McVeigh holds a master’s degree in administration from Loyola University New Orleans and a bachelor’s degree in administration from the University of Phoenix. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
