Michael Brown Joins EBA Engineering as Senior Construction Manager

Michael Brown has joined EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA) as a senior construction manager. He is based in EBA’s Laurel, Maryland, headquarters and will be responsible for managing EBA’s construction management and inspection (CMI) projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

“Michael brings vast construction industry experience to EBA and is well-respected among his peers,” said EBA President and CEO Rizwan Siddiqi, PE. “We are looking forward to his leadership to help grow and strengthen our CMI services in the area.”

Brown has more than 20 years of experience in the construction engineering industry. He was most recently the Assistant District Engineer, District 3 Construction, for the Maryland State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA), where he oversaw the $1 billion state construction budget and supervised more than 200 office and field employees.

Previously, as an area engineer for MDOT SHA Districts 5 and 3, Brown managed multimillion-dollar transportation construction projects, including the $78 million MD 4 (Pennsylvania Avenue) at Suitland Parkway Interchange in Prince George’s County and the $81 million MD 355 Crossing in Montgomery County.

Brown is a United States Marine Corps veteran and was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal for combat service in the Gulf War. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, and an MBA from American InterContinental University in Illinois.
