EBA Engineering President and CEO Rizwan Siddiqi Honored with ASCE Lifetime Achievement Award

EBA Engineering, Inc. is proud to announce that Rizwan A. Siddiqi, PE, President and CEO, has been honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the American Society of Civil Engineers – National Capital Section (ASCE-NCS). The award was presented at the ASCE-NCS Annual Awards Banquet held on April 8, 2025, in Arlington, Virginia.
The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes individuals whose careers have been distinguished by exceptional service, leadership, and contributions to the civil engineering profession and broader community. Siddiqi was selected for this prestigious honor based on his more than 44 years of dedication to advancing engineering excellence, mentorship, and impactful infrastructure development across the Mid-Atlantic region.
As the longtime leader of EBA Engineering, a 150-person multidisciplinary firm, Siddiqi has helped shape major water infrastructure and transportation projects, championed policies to support infrastructure development and businesses, led efforts to mentor and elevate future engineers, and engaged in numerous community service activities and leadership roles.
His leadership and service extend across a wide range of professional, civic, and charitable organizations, including ASCE, the American Council of Engineering Companies, and numerous state and local boards. He has made significant contributions to public policy, STEM education, small business advocacy, and community development initiatives. Siddiqi is currently serving a three-year term on the Maryland Transportation Commission, is an inaugural member of DC Water’s Business Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Council, and serves on the Advisory Board for the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of the District of Columbia.

Siddiqi is a licensed professional engineer in Maryland and the District of Columbia. He holds a master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from Virginia Tech and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology in Lahore, Pakistan.
