Assistant Vice President, Construction Materials Testing
Redha Hasan has more than 35 years of experience providing construction materials testing (CMT), geotechnical engineering, construction management, and construction inspection services for transportation, transit, utility, and public infrastructure projects throughout Maryland, Virginia, Washington, DC, and the Mid-Atlantic region. He specializes in quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), laboratory testing, geotechnical investigations, foundation engineering, and soil and aggregate evaluation.
Throughout his career, Redha has managed complex, high-profile projects involving significant technical challenges and public impacts. He has contributed to major transportation and infrastructure projects throughout the region, including the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Silver Line in Virginia and the Lane Place Pedestrian Bridge in Washington, DC.
At EBA, Redha oversees construction materials testing and laboratory services, directing operations for the firm’s AASHTO-accredited materials testing laboratory in Laurel, Maryland. He provides technical oversight for concrete, asphalt, soil, aggregate, and geotechnical testing programs, ensuring compliance with AASHTO and ASTM standards, project specifications, and quality requirements.
Redha is a licensed professional engineer in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC, and holds a master’s degree in geotechnical engineering and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Technology in Baghdad, Iraq.
