Associate/Vice President, Water Systems Engineering
Joseph’s extensive experience as a licensed professional engineer in Maryland and Washington, DC, includes design expertise in water and sewer infrastructure systems spanning from pipelines, trenchless installation, and all material types and appurtenances to large meters and pressure reducing valves. His background also includes extensive hydraulic modeling and software knowledge, along with significant field services to observe, test, and analyses systems. He is also certified in the NASSCO Inspector Training and Certification Program for CIPP installation.
Joseph has designed and managed several high-profile, complex, and challenging projects for Baltimore City and County, WSSC Water, DC Water, and NASA, along with providing engineering services for smaller municipalities. For the City of Bowie, he led an award-winning cured-in-place pipe lining project that represented a first of its kind for water main rehabilitation in the local area.
Joseph is the chair of the ACEC/MW Water Infrastructure Committee and has presented at several conferences including Tri-Con and WaterJAM. Before joining EBA, he earned his master’s degree in environmental engineering from the Technical University of Denmark and his bachelor’s degree in metallurgical engineering from the University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana.
As Vice President of EBA’s Water Systems Engineering department, Joseph oversees a comprehensive range of services, including water and wastewater systems planning, design, upgrades, and inspection.
