2023: Quality in Construction Award (Airport Category) from the National Asphalt Pavement Association for the Lancaster Airport Runway 8-26 in Lititz, PA project.

2023: Grand Award for Design in the ACEC Metropolitan Washington 2023 Engineering Excellence Awards competition for the firm’s work on a Water Main Pipe Rehabilitation project in Bowie, Maryland.

2023: National Recognition Award in the American Council of Engineering Companies’ (ACEC) 2023 Engineering Excellence Awards competition for the Water Main Repair project on Howard Street.

2023: ENR MidAtlantic’s Best Project Award in the water/environment category for the Fort Smallwood Park Shoreline Stabilization project.

2023: Community Service Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) awarded to EBA president and CEO, Rizwan Siddiqi, PE, during ACEC’s 2023 Annual Fall Conference.

2022: Maryland Excellence in Paving Award for the MD 216 (7th St.) at Main Street project.

2022: Merit Award in the American Council of Engineering Companies Metro-Washington (ACEC/MW) 2022 Engineering Excellence Awards competition for the Montgomery County US 29 Flash Bus Rapid Transit project.

2021: Honor Award in the American Council of Engineering Companies Metro-Washington (ACEC/MW) 2021 Engineering Excellence Awards competition for the Emergency Repair of PCCP Water Main Under I-83 Bridge project.

2021: Merit Award in the American Council of Engineering Companies Metro-Washington (ACEC/MW) 2021 Engineering Excellence Awards competition for the Metropolitan Branch Trail project.

2021: Esri Special Achievement in GIS (SAG) award presented to the Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County for their new GIS system, implemented with geographIT’s help.

2016: National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s Small Business Industry Award: Mentor-Protégé Agreement of the Year Award for the Facility Construction, Engineering, and Technical Services contract at Goddard Space Flight Center.

2015: American Council of Engineering Companies of Maryland’s Outstanding Project of the Year for Elmer A. Henderson: A Johns Hopkins Partnership School.

2015: Pennsylvania Environmental Council’s Governor’s Award for Environmental Excellence awarded to City of Philadelphia Water Department for Delaware Valley Early Warning System – Tidal Spill Trajectory Tool, developed jointly by geographIT (sub) and the prime consultant.

2014: International Parking Institute’s Award of Merit for the University of Maryland’s Pratt Street Garage.

2013: Esri International User Conference’s Special Achievement in GIS (SAG) Award presented to the Philadelphia Police Department Mapping and Analysis Unit, including Andrew Smart, geographIT’s consultant to the police department.

2012: Associated General Contractors of Metropolitan Washington presented EBA with the Washington Contractor Award for our participation on the Intercounty Connector Contract C, MD 200 from US 29 to I-95 project.

2012: PA GIS Conference’s Geospatial Excellence Award for the GIS-LiDAR Based Delineation of Water Impoundment Areas in Greene County, PA.

2011: Maryland Society of Professional Engineers’ Engineering Firm of the Year.

2011: Maryland State Highway Administration’s AASHTO President’s Award for Highways for the Intercounty Connector Contract C, MD 200 from US 29 to I-95.

2011: County Engineers Association of Maryland’s Award of Merit (Mid-Size Project) for Andrews Air Force Base Gateway Beautification/Suitland Road Gateway.

2011: PA GIS Conference’s Geospatial Excellence Award for geographIT’s Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) for Wireless Broadband Internet Mapping in Pennsylvania.

2010-2011: Technology Solutions Award presented to City of Philadelphia Streets Department by the Public Technology Institute for a mobile asset management solution to inventory traffic light infrastructure and LED blubs, which was developed by geographIT.

2008: Maryland American Society of Civil Engineers’ Outstanding Small Project Award for Annapolis City Dock Bulkhead and Boardwalk Replacement.

2008: Preservation Pennsylvania’s Initiative Award for Communication for geographIT’s design and implementation of Project Keystone’s user-friendly web GIS application to learn about historic stone arch bridges in Chester County, Pennsylvania.

2008: Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and National Resource’s Innovation Award for geographIT’s innovative use of PAMAP LiDAR and digital ortho-photo imagery in its custom web service application, Slope On Demand™.

2005: American Council of Engineering Companies of Maryland honor award for City of Baltimore’s Charles Street Streetscape, from Saratoga Street to Centre Street.

2003: Maryland Society of Professional Engineers’ Outstanding Project Award for Western Maryland Rail Trail.

2003: American Public Works Association’s Historical Restoration/Preservation <$2 million award for the Rehabilitation of Bridge 37-Forge Hill Rd over Deer Creek.

2001: PA GIS Conference awarded the Pennsylvania Award for Excellence to Bruce Stauffer, current EBA and former geographIT vice president, “…for his visionary application of Geospatial Technology serving the citizens of Pennsylvania.”
