Asset Management Program Support Services

EBA is providing asset management services to support DC Water’s goal to become a “Best in World” Utility by developing and implementing a world-class asset management program. The project is being delivered in multiple phases.

During Phase 1, EBA assisted with program management, levels of service, technology and data management, operations and maintenance optimization, reliability and condition assessment, and lifecycle management. Phase 1 concluded early in 2015.

Phase 2 began in the summer of 2015. EBA continues to support DC Water’s Asset Management Program with enterprise-wide risk management framework development and technology and data management services.

EBA is currently facilitating workshops to develop a high-level risk profile of asset systems across the Authority that can be used to prioritize work efforts. EBA is also developing a risk mitigation framework that will identify high risk assets and recommend associated mitigation strategies.

Technology and data support services include supporting data management and data loading for new assets into Maximo (CMMS) and GIS. These tasks will guide the improvement of asset inventory and asset attribute information for linear assets and workflow development for vertical assets.
