EBA’s Khalid Qadwai is Named to ACEC/MD Board of Directors

Khalid Qadwai, PE, PMP, an associate and a senior project manager for EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA), has been selected to serve on the American Council of Engineering Companies/Maryland (ACEC/MD) Board of Directors for the next 3 years. Qadwai brings 24 years of professional experience as a water/wastewater engineer to the role.

“This honor recognizes Khalid’s commitment to the profession, past service to ACEC/MD, and award-winning engineering achievements,” said EBA President and CEO Rizwan Siddiqi, PE. “We are proud to have an EBA employee in this role, and I am confident Khalid’s knowledge and advocacy for the engineering profession will support his positive contributions to ACEC/MD’s mission and goals.”

Over his 24-year career as a water systems engineer, Qadwai has led numerous large and complex water and wastewater design and construction projects to help maintain infrastructure systems and provide safe drinking water. His commitment to ACEC/MD began in 2014 and has included serving on multiple committees over the past 10 years, along with completing the organization’s leadership training course in 2021.

Qadwai is a licensed professional engineer in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia and a certified project management professional (PMP). He holds a master’s degree in environmental engineering from Old Dominion University and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the NED University of Engineering and Technology in Karachi, Pakistan.
