Marriott Parking Garage Evaluation and Repair Design

The Marriott Garage is an 8-level, reinforced concrete (steel rebar and post-tensioned cables), cast-in-place structure built in 1985. The garage suffered from delaminations and spalls in many areas, including exposed reinforcement bars and post-tension cables.

EBA provided engineering services to rehabilitate the Marriott Parking Garage. EBA inspected and evaluated the structural condition of the garage, prepared a report with recommended repairs and approximate construction costs, designed repairs to the existing garage, prepared complete contract documents for bidding the work, and performed construction administration services.
