  • Cox Creek Water Reclamation Facility ENR Upgrade

Cox Creek Water Reclamation Facility, a 15-million-gallon-per-day wastewater treatment plant, will be upgraded to meet enhanced nutrient removal (ENR) standards. Construction will be completed in two phases.

Phase 1 included demolition of the influent flow meter vault, various distribution channels and boxes, a Mixed Liquor Suspended Solids (MLSS) holding tank, four circular primary clarifiers, and the prechlorine building and chlorine cylinder storage area. A new electrical room and power distribution system were also part of Phase 1.

Phase 2 includes construction of an influent flow meter, two rectangular primary clarifiers, fine screen facility, ENR reactors, 4-Stage Bardenpho bio-reactors, chemical feed systems, membrane bioreactor facility, gravity thickener, odor control system, power distribution system, equalization basins, high rate clarification system, and control system integration.

EBA performed baseline staking and an “as-built” survey for the project. EBA is also providing geotechnical support services as well as field and laboratory materials testing for soil and concrete.
