Stacey Smith Joins EBA Engineering’s Geospatial Technologies Division
Stacey Smith, GISP, has joined geographIT®, a division of EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA), as a project manager providing local government business development, project management, and client relationship management. She is based in EBA’s Lancaster, Pennsylvania office, and will help expand EBA’s GIS practice for public safety and emergency management.
“We are pleased to welcome Stacey to EBA,” said EBA President and CEO Rizwan Siddiqi, PE. “Throughout her career, she has gained the respect of many county GIS professionals for her leadership and skill at facilitating complex interagency projects.”
Previously, Smith served for more than 20 years at the Chester County Department of Computing and Information Services, most recently as the GIS Services Supervisor.
She was the two-term president of the County GIS Professionals Association of Pennsylvania (GIS Pros), a program of the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania (CCAP). She was also member of the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency’s Next Generation 911 (NG9-1-1) Workgroup and a project coordinator for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Task Force (SEPATF) NG9-1-1 regional GIS initiatives.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in geography from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
