EBA President and CEO Rizwan Siddiqi Named to ACEC College of Fellows
Rizwan Siddiqi, PE, President and CEO of EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA), has been selected as a member of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) College of Fellows for 2023. Siddiqi was recognized with other Fellow honorees during ACEC’s annual Fall Conference Awards Luncheon on October 17, 2023, in Austin, Texas.
In addition to his distinguished 40-year engineering career, Siddiqi has worked tirelessly to support his community, state, and profession and has held leadership positions for a variety of organizations.
Siddiqi has been an active ACEC/Metro Washington (ACEC/MW) member for more than a decade, serving as the group’s president from 2019 to 2020. He was also recently appointed to the national ACEC Planning Cabinet and ACEC Transportation Steering Committee.
He is currently serving a 3-year term on the Maryland Transportation Commission. He is an inaugural member of DC Water’s Business Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Council, and he is also an Advisory Board member for the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of the District of Columbia.
To honor his substantial efforts to give back to his community and profession, Siddiqi received the ACEC/Maryland (ACEC/MD) 2023 Community Service Award.
Siddiqi has been deeply committed to the engineering industry through his problem-solving and innovation for clients, participation in professional organizations, leadership at the state and national levels, and passionate advocacy for his local community. He continues to prioritize keeping EBA’s commitments to clients, sharing his knowledge and insights with new and seasoned engineers, and working diligently toward a better world for all.
Siddiqi is a licensed professional engineer in Maryland and the District of Columbia. He holds a master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from Virginia Tech and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology in Lahore, Pakistan.
