Lancaster Airport Runway 8-26 Rehabilitation

EBA evaluated the existing pavement and subgrade conditions of the 1 million square-foot Runway 8-26 and associated runway safety area for Delta Airport Consultants. Initial work to support preparation of a geotechnical report and recommendations for this $9.4M pavement rehabilitation consisting of soil borings along the runway, pavement coring, test pits, percolation tests field CBR, and pavement distress survey. We then prepared a comprehensive report that included recommendations for site grading, subgrade preparation, rock excavation, fill and backfill, mitigation of potential karst-related issues, and stormwater management.
