Holsey Joins EBA Engineering’s Construction Management and Inspection Division
Gregory Holsey has joined EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA) as a senior construction manager providing construction management and inspection (CMI) consulting services. He is based in EBA’s Laurel, Maryland, headquarters and will assist with the firm’s Maryland CMI operations and manage transportation projects.
“Greg brings a wealth of operations knowledge and will be an outstanding asset to both EBA and our clients,” said EBA Senior Vice President Kevin Kreis, PE, CCS, DBIA. “He has extensive construction experience and knowledge of the field.”
Holsey has more than 40 years of experience in all phases of civil construction, building construction, construction management, and construction administration. He was most recently a District Engineer for the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) State Highway Administration (SHA) responsible for delivering transportation projects in District 2.
As District Engineer, Holsey provided administrative oversight of all District programs including access management, utility, traffic, construction inspection, project development, maintenance, and human resources.
His project experience includes the $160 million effort to improve safety and relieve congestion on MD 404 from Holly Road to US 50 and the $35 million US 304/301 Interchange project.
As Assistant District Engineer for SHA District 1, he also helped manage major capital, system preservation, safety, and congestion relief projects, such as the $27 million design-build construction of MD 113 from Goody Hill to Harman Branch.
