EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA) is pleased to announce that Erica Rigby, PE, has joined the firm as Vice President of Transportation. In this role, Rigby will oversee EBA’s civil, transportation, and structural engineering services, leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions for public and private sector clients.

With 19 years of civil and transportation engineering expertise, Rigby has led complex infrastructure projects in senior roles at both the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) and the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA).

Rigby brings extensive transit project experience to EBA, having most recently served as Deputy Project Director for the Red Line Transit project at MTA, where she managed the Program Management and General Engineering contracts.

Previously, as District Engineer for Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties at SHA, Rigby led a state staff of approximately 280 employees and managed multimillion-dollar contracts for traffic, design, construction, utilities, maintenance, facilities, finance, and administration. Her portfolio included bridge rehabilitation, system preservation, roadway maintenance, access management, and emergency operations, as well as human resources and procurement.

Rigby holds a bachelor of science in environmental engineering from Tufts University, a master of science in environmental and engineering geosciences from Radford University, and a master of business administration from Frostburg State University. She is a licensed professional engineer in Maryland.
