EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA) is pleased to announce the promotion of Redha Hasan, PE, to department manager for construction materials testing (CMT). Hasan joined EBA in 2016 and was previously a construction manager.

“Redha has considerable construction project management and quality control experience from his outstanding work on EBA’s transportation contracts,” said EBA President and CEO Rizwan Siddiqi, PE. “He will continue to be a great asset to our clients in the Mid-Atlantic region.”

Hasan has more than 30 years of experience in construction management, materials testing, and geotechnical engineering, with expertise in soil mechanics, rock engineering, geotechnical design, and construction processes. He has successfully managed projects involving complex, far-reaching issues that impact the public, including EBA’s work on the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Silver Line project in Virginia.

Hasan holds a master’s degree in geotechnical engineering and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Technology in Baghdad, Iraq. He is a licensed professional engineer in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
