EBA Engineering Promotes Redha Hasan to Assistant Vice President

EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA) is pleased to announce the promotion of Redha Hasan, PE, to assistant vice president. Hasan joined EBA in 2016 and is currently department manager for construction materials testing (CMT).

“Redha is well-known and respected for his work with departments of transportation and on EBA’s construction management, inspection, and testing contracts,” said EBA President and CEO Rizwan Siddiqi, PE. “He has been an outstanding asset to our clients in the Mid-Atlantic region.”

Hasan has nearly 35 years of experience in construction management and inspection, materials testing, and geotechnical engineering, with expertise in soil mechanics, rock engineering, geotechnical design, and construction processes. He has successfully managed projects involving complex, far-reaching issues that impact the public, including EBA’s work on the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Silver Line project in Virginia.

Hasan has served a dual role as resident engineer and construction manager on EBA’s projects for the District Department of Transportation (DDOT). He is currently leading DDOT’s Lane Place Pedestrian Bridge project to replace and improve the pedestrian crossing over Kenilworth Avenue in Washington, DC.

Hasan holds a master’s degree in geotechnical engineering and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Technology in Baghdad, Iraq. He is a licensed professional engineer in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
