Brett Deane Joins EBA Engineering as Senior Construction Manager
Brett Deane has joined EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA) as a senior construction manager in the firm’s construction management and inspection (CMI) department. Deane is based in EBA’s Laurel, Maryland, headquarters and will be responsible for overseeing CMI projects, as well as managing client relations and business development.
“Brett brings a wealth of Maryland transportation industry knowledge and will be an outstanding asset to both EBA and our clients,” said EBA President and CEO Rizwan Siddiqi, PE.
Before joining EBA, Deane served as an engineer for 15 years at the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA). Most recently, as assistant district engineer for construction, Deane was responsible for managing all MDOT SHA construction projects in District 1. He managed a staff of engineers, technicians, and administrative personnel to ensure the safe and timely construction of hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of projects.
While with MDOT SHA, Deane’s project management experience also included the MD 97 at Randolph Road interchange, US 13 Salisbury Bypass bridge replacements, US 113 Dualization phases 3 and 4, MD 2 at MD 423 safety and spot improvements, and MD 295 Riverview and Baltimore Highlands noise barrier.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park.
