BIM Modeling Services for Airport Projects
Under this ongoing, 5-year, as-needed professional services contract to provide building information modeling (BIM) services to Maryland Aviation Administration (MAA), EBA has received 11 tasks, to date, encompassing nearly $400,000 in fees. Work involves reviewing Revit models to confirm adherence to MAA’s PEGS BIM standards. Other activities included coordinating COBie integration with Revit models to confirm that COBie data originating in the design is coordinated with construction, thereby enabling accurate data entry as each project progresses.
EBA’s efforts have supported a new air traffic control tower project at Martin State Airport along with the following projects at Baltimore/Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airport:
