EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA) is pleased to announce that Jason Kolenda, PE, and Steven Marciszewski have been named associates of the firm. Kolenda is a project manager in EBA’s Geotechnical Engineering Department, and Marciszewski is EBA’s Construction Management and Inspection (CMI) Department manager.

“This recognition is a direct result of Jason and Steve’s commitment, expertise, and passion for EBA” said EBA President and CEO Rizwan Siddiqi, PE.

Kolenda has been instrumental in building EBA’s geotechnical engineering practice. He has more than 20 years of experience in geotechnical engineering and construction monitoring and has served as project manager for high-profile projects, such as EBA’s geotechnical services on the Anacostia River Tunnel and Northeast Boundary Tunnel projects in Washington, DC.

Kolenda holds bachelor’s degrees in civil engineering and horticultural science from the University of Maryland, College Park. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia, and he is based in EBA’s Laurel, Maryland, office.

Marciszewski joined EBA in 2018 and has 30 years of operations experience in construction and program management at the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA). He was most recently Deputy Chief Engineer and Director of the Administration’s Office of Construction. As Director, Marciszewski oversaw the delivery of SHA’s multibillion-dollar capital construction program—the largest in Maryland’s history.

Marciszewski earned his bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from Morgan State University. He is based in EBA’s Laurel, Maryland, office.

“We are confident that Jason and Steve will continue to serve as exceptional leaders for EBA and as committed partners for our clients,” said Siddiqi.
