EBA Engineering Recognized by NASA with 2016 Small Business Industry Award

EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA) was named among the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Small Business Industry Award winners for 2016. EBA received a Mentor-Protégé Agreement of the Year Award for work as a protégé supporting the Facility Construction, Engineering, and Technical Services (FaCETS) contract at Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC).

“EBA is honored to receive this recognition, and we deeply value our working relationship with NASA and the opportunity to serve and support the space program’s facilities,” said EBA President and CEO Rizwan Siddiqi, PE.

The award’s selection criteria include evidence of providing timely, cost-effective, value-added services to support NASA’s mission.

For more than 15 years, EBA has supported GSFC’s Facilities Management Division as a sub-consultant on the FaCETS contract team. EBA’s support has included facilities management, CADD management, system integration, GPS data collection, and other tasks—all aimed at improving the division’s architectural and engineering information system to the state-of-the-art.

One of EBA’s major roles has been helping FMD solve various space management challenges for the center’s 1,200-acre campus in Greenbelt, Maryland.
