Rizwan Siddiqi, PE and Harish Patel, PE, RLS have officially assumed the positions of President and Executive Vice President, respectively, of EBA Engineering, Inc., effective January 1, 2015.

Siddiqi, who formerly served as one of EBA’s Executive Vice Presidents, succeeds Nanda Sen, PE, who was the company’s President from 1989-2014.

Patel, who was also an Executive Vice President, succeeds Kunal Gangopadhyay, PE. He is now EBA’s sole Executive Vice President.

In addition to Siddiqi and Patel, Steve Diggins, PE, is EBA’s new Senior Vice President and Secretary.

Both Sen and Gangopadhyay will remain with EBA as Senior Associates and will work with the new leadership team. The changes in responsibilities and the subsequent installation of EBA’s new leaders have been planned by the company for some time.

As members of EBA’s Board of Directors, Siddiqi, Patel, and Diggins will run the company, along with Bob Sebastian, PE, who will continue as Chairman of the Board and Jairo Palomino, CPA, who will continue as the company’s Treasurer.

The brainchild of four engineers, a geologist, and a surveyor, EBA Engineering began in 1981 as a small, minority-owned civil engineering company committed to giving each organization with which it worked an exceptional, client-centered experience that delivered results. In its 33 years in business, EBA has grown to 240 employees in five offices, providing a wide range of engineering services to public, quasi-public, and private clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic, but its focus on excellence remains unchanged.
