Amir Fouladgar Joins EBA Engineering as Senior Vice President

Amir Fouladgar, PE, has joined EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA) as a senior vice president of business development. Fouladgar will oversee operations and help expand the firm’s transportation engineering and structural/bridge design services in the District of Columbia and Virginia.

“We are committed to growing our transportation and structural bridge design and inspection service offerings in DC and Virginia, and we are very glad to welcome Amir to lead our efforts in this region,” said EBA President and CEO Rizwan Siddiqi, PE.

Fouladgar has more than 45 years of experience in transportation and civil engineering with a focus on bridge and facility design and construction and expertise in mega project delivery programs.

Recognized as an expert in transportation structures design, Fouladgar has more than three decades of experience with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and several other southeastern transportation departments.

His mega project experience includes leadership roles on the I-10 Twin Span Bridge over Lake Pontchartrain in Louisiana, the Oakland Bay Bridge Bypass rehabilitation in San Francisco, and the LaGuardia Airport redevelopment in New York.

He was most recently a regional business manager for another consulting firm, where he led business development and client services for the mid-Atlantic region and spearheaded the establishment of several new offices.

Fouladgar is a licensed professional engineer in 13 states, including Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. He earned his bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Kentucky.
