EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA) is pleased to announced the promotion of Michael (Mike) Dominelli III, PE, LEED AP, to structural engineering department manager. Mike joined EBA in 2004 and was previously a senior project manager.
“Mike has proven his commitment to his clients, teammates, and community time and again,” said EBA President and CEO Rizwan Siddiqi, PE. “He is the ideal leader for EBA’s structural engineering practice.”
Dominelli has more than 20 years of experience in structural analysis and design, including field inspection and engineering evaluation, new design, and remedial design.
He has served as the structural engineer of record for high-profile projects throughout Maryland, including the award-winning Phase 1 replacement of the Annapolis City Dock Bulkhead and Boardwalk and Phase 2 of the new Dorsey Run Correctional Facility in Jessup, Maryland.
He also led the inspection and evaluation of all city-owned vehicular and pedestrian bridges in Baltimore.
Dominelli earned a master's degree in structural engineering and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York. He also holds a master of urban planning degree from the City University of New York. He is a LEED Accredited Professional, BD+C, US Green Building Council, and a registered professional engineer in seven states.
A dedicated volunteer who is passionate about giving back to his local community, Mike is the president of Little Italy Hands and Hearts. This nonprofit group brings together neighbors and businesses of Little Italy to feed the homeless and others in need in Southeast Baltimore. He is also treasurer of Baltimore Green Works, a nonprofit organization that supports environmental efforts to better the quality of life in Baltimore.
